The Shadow of Salas continues to cast over the Supranational Union

Despite the decade long absence of former Chairman Vladimir Salas, after his abdication in February 2050, has managed to pass off his ideas onto the politicians of today, who defend his legacy against people like Chairwoman Song and Vice Chairman Bronshtein. Many of these people have been apart of a series of arrests that have resulted with them being sent to either a reeducation facility or prison labor factory.

However, many political analysts continue to ponder over the thought of why Salas still remains so prevalent in our society's political structure. Some have attributed it to time and due to the span of his era, these analysts believe that an equal number of time to that which he served would be enough to remove his influence from modern society.

Others have blamed it on the failures of the Morgen administration from 2050-2057, which loosened state control over corporations and led to multiple infractions from private enterprise along with worsening working conditions for lower class citizens.

Despite the reasons for the legacy of Salas still influencing our society, the government has taken the correct approach in attacking these ideas and rightfully condemning them for their pro-corruption rhetoric.
